I refer to the first two courses I completed in my ILT program, INTE 5660 & 5670, as eLearning Boot Camp. I grew from a technology neophyte into a competent online course designer. In these courses, I learned much more than the subject matter: I learned the importance of exceptionally good communication and the value of the instructors' unfailing support. I could not have asked for a better introduction to online learning design and implementation.
I developed the online course, Westville Pioneer Daily Life Outreach Training, for a living-history site in Georgia. It was designed for volunteer educators who deliver programs at area schools.
