My neighborhood was full of downed branches following one of Colorado's famed Spring blizzards. Everyone got to work, and with chainsaws in hand we trimmed trees, cut branches to size, and hauled them to the street where city crews would pick them up.  It was hard work, but we had some laughs and got the job done.

No one told me I couldn't use a chainsaw- or do a lot of the things I've done in my life. I entered the Information and Learning Technology program with a crazy desire to teach with technology but meager technology skills, knowing I was capable of learning and doing anything I put my mind to. My love of learning and can-do attitude are at the root of my teaching philosophy.
