“It is good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters in the end.” - Ursula K. Le Guin
In the course of completing this degree, I have been guided by skilled instructors, inspired by my colleagues, and supported by both. I have learned how to design instruction that engages learners and incites them to both creative and analytical thinking. I've learned that all teaching must be learner-centered, and knowing your learners is crucial to their success. I've learned to use the power of various media tools to create instruction and craft assignments. Perhaps most importantly, I've become a better communicator. The lessons I've learned about communicating clearly, voicing support, asking good questions, and listening beyond the words have carried deeply into my life. Learning to communicate well in virtual environments is, I believe, a vital 21st-Century skill.

As my journey through the program reaches and end, I can truly say it has been a life-changing experience. Thank you!
