The assignment sounded challenging at first blush: create a podcast on a color. How would I create an audio presentation of a visual concept? In the end, this project was exceptionally fun to complete. A regular listener of both NPR and A Prairie Home Companion, I enjoy the story-telling feel of podcasts. As a welcome break from the visual world, podcasts free the mind from visual clutter. Completing this assignment, I learned the value of podcast assignments as a creative tool for teaching and learning.
